What we Do - Our Programs

WLRF stands with Uganda’s labourers who’ve sustained work-related injuries. We provide essential services, advocate for better working conditions, and push for justice and fair compensation.

Legal Support

We offer free legal representation to eligible workers in compensation claims.

Orthopaedic & Medical Support

We help injured workers access life-saving treatment and recovery services.

Mental Health Services

WLRF partners with counselors to provide emotional support and trauma healing.

Advocacy & Campaigns

We raise awareness and lobby for worker-cantered policies, in collaboration with unions and civil society.

When workers are injured, they deserve support—not silence. We are their voice.

Why are we collecting funds?

  1. Expanding our advocacy services, to include personal advocacy with insurers and support persons to attend meetings with injured workers.
  2. Expanding our local networks to all regions of Uganda and across borders.
  3. Expanding our resources for injured workers and
  4. Provide greater support to the families of injured workers

We also seek your help to continue our campaign for a fairer workers compensation system. One that removes workers compensation from the political arena and has the health and support of injured workers and their families at its heart.
